5G Communication with Councilman Giarrusso

5G Communication with Councilman Giarrusso

Dear Councilman Giarrusso and ARNA Board,

Hope you and yours are well. Councilman Giarruso, I am thrilled that you are reading the studies and hope you learn more. Thank you for opening a discussion. I believe you are referencing the National Toxicology Program (NTP) of 2016. This results of this study were of so much interest to the American Academy of Pediatrics that they issued a statement recommending limiting children’s exposure to EMF radiation. In the NTP, the male rats had an increased incidence of hyperplastic lesions and glial cell neoplasms of the heart and brain (see below). The Ramazzini Institute Study in 2018 (see below) repeated a large similar study in Italy and had very congruent results, only added finding the glial tumors in both male and female rats.

NTP:

Ramazzini Institute Study:

Your point about the hours of the day the animals experienced is a valid one. With the 2, 3, 4, and now 5G surrounding your constituents’ bodies, the nine hours a day is on the very low end of exposure, especially if the tower is in front of your home or business. Also, if you physically are near the new smart meters measuring your utilities installed on our most families homes/ businesses, more EMF contributes to deleterious effects on peoples' bodies. (As they stressed to us attending the EMF conference for our patients, the radiation effects are cumulative.)

Comments regarding the two studies:

“The US NTP results combined now with the Ramazzini study, reinforce human studies from our team and others providing clear evidence that RF radiation causes acoustic neuromaa (vestibular schwannoma) and gliomas, and should be classified carcinogenic to humans,” stated Lennart Hardell MD, PhD, physician-epidemiologist with the Department of Oncology, University Hospital, Örebro, Sweden, who has published extensively on environmental causes of cancer including Agent Orange, pesticides and cell phone radiofrequency radiation.

“The evidence indicating wireless is carcinogenic has increased and can no longer be ignored,” stated University of Toronto Dalla Lana School of Public Health Professor Emeritus Anthony B. Miller MD, Member of the Royal Colleges of Physicians of Canada and the UK, and Senior Medical Advisor to EHT who is also a long-term advisor to the World Health Organization.

“This study raises concerns that simply living close to a cell tower will pose threats to human health. Governments need to take measures to reduce exposures from cell tower emissions. Cell towers should not be near schools, hospitals or people’s homes. Public health agencies need to educate the public on how to reduce exposure from all sources of wireless radiofrequency radiation—be it from cell towers or cell phones or Wi-Fi in schools,” stated David O. Carpenter MD, former Dean of the School of Public Health at the University at Albany. “This is particularly urgent because of current plans to place small 5G cell towers about every 300 meters in every street across the country. These 5G ‘small cell’ antennas will result in continuous exposure to everyone living nearby and everyone walking down the street. The increased exposures will increase risk of cancer and other diseases such as electro-hypersensitivity.”

Please protect you, your family and citizens of our city; be a voice to stop the 5Gs when you and the Council meet again. Proceeding with 5 Gs while our community faces COVID 19 (as you have been told by the City of City's focus) is an irresponsible action.

Sincerely, Holly Groh, M.D.

Subject: Health Department

Good morning and hope everyone had a great weekend. I spoke with the Health Department late Friday afternoon about 5G. They said two things. First, they do not have the capacity to independently study this issue given the City’s focus on COVID and vaccinations. Second, they would refer anyone interested to CDC and WHO guidelines.

Also, I read some of the studies by Dr. Groh this weekend. In one, male rats had been subjected to a significantly higher amount of RF across their entire bodies for nine hours a day. Some of those male rats developed heart tumors but the female rats and the male and female mice did not get sick at all. So far, there has been data showing this causes cancer or other ailments. And, a lot of the literature talks about emission of waves to other sources such as radios and TVs.

Regards, Joe
